Alaina is originally from NYC and, as an actor, has worked on Broadway and in film as well as national TV shows and commercials. She is the recipient of three AriZoni Theatre Awards for her roles as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, Christine in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd; she received the Videographer Award of Excellence for her work as the host of Maricopa Now TV show in AZ.

Alaina is grateful to have had the opportunity to direct some of the Valley’s best actors in Lend Me a Tenor (Winner AriZoni Award-Best Overall Production), The Man Who Came to Dinner, Heaven Can Wait, and Snow White at Hale Centre Theatre.

She is very proud to be working with The Bridge Initiative.

Brenda moved to Tempe from New York City with her husband, Brian, who completed his MFA in Directing at ASU, and daughter, Robyn. Brenda has performed with Arizona Theatre Company (The Diary of Anne Frank), iTheatre Collaborative (By the Way, Meet Vera Stark, Love Disorder), AC/TC (Now.Here.This.), Mesa Encore Theatre (Carousel, August: Osage County and The Full Monty, Zoni nom), the Don Bluth Front Row Theatre (The Sound of Music), and readings with Phoenix Theatre, Stray Cat, and Class 6. She started the popular monthly Second Sundays play reading series with Mesa Encore Theatre. Previously, Brenda performed off- and off-off-Broadway, on tour, in regional theatre, and internationally. She founded a theatre company, CEO Theatre, who were the first to revive John Cariani’s Almost, Maine in NYC. Also a writer, her screenplays have placed in national contests, and she wrote the book and contributed lyrics to an original musical, To Find Happy, which was part of the Emerging Artists Theatre New Works Festival in 2013. She has a BFA in Musical Theatre and a BA in English from the University of Michigan.


Taylor Moschetti 

Taylor is the Artistic Director of Laughing Pig Theatre. At LPT, she is dedicated to providing fringe theatre by creating a safe space for artists of all levels and disciplines to learn and grow. She has a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Performance from Northern Arizona University. You can also follow her plus size fashion blog @BornToEatCupcakes. She is super excited and thankful to be apart of this powerful project. She cannot thank Bridge enough for involving her, her husband and family for their constant support, and Dayle Ann for creating this incredible piece.


Thommi A’Mal

Thommi is a vehement actress who has appeared in numerous Theatre productions, Commercials, Industrials and Print ads.  Her film credits include “The Covenant", “Girl Wired” and “Middle Men”, as well as several other productions that have aired both nationally and locally.

Thommi is also certified in TV and Radio Broadcasting and adores  Voice-Over  work of various kinds. In addition, she holds a Bachelors degree in Theatre and a minor in African-American studies. She is ever so grateful of the Blessings that she’s received to live out her childhood dreams of being an Actress. It’s her passion and her calling in life!

As a film fanatic, she is totally fascinated with the Horror genre and aspires to meet Stephen King one day soon!


  Christy Sweeney

Christi is thrilled to be working with the Bridge Initiative in this new and powerful piece.  Favorite AZ roles include: Barbara – August Osage County - ariZoni nom (MET); Suzy - Wait Until Dark- ariZoni nom (HCT); Mrs. Robinson - The Graduate - ariZoni nom (FHCT); Deedra -Always a Bridesmaid – ariZoni nom (FHCT). She was a founding member of Theatre District at the Cast in Hollywood, CA. In LA & OC, favorite roles included Private Lives (Amanda); Something to Hide (Karen Holt) Performance of Year; Couple of White Chicks… (Maude) Must See LA Times /Actress of Year OC Register; Five Women Wearing Same Dress (Georgeanne) BackStage West Garland Award.  #motherofmainecoons.
